Multicultural Grassroots Initiative (MGI) grants round closes next Monday (4 Nov)!

As part of the Government’s response to the Multicultural Framework Review report the Albanese Government has committed over $85 million to the Modernised Multicultural Grants package. This new round of grassroots grants is part of that commitment.

This program will fund grassroots community organisation’s projects up to $100,000 over 2 years from 2024-25 that support activities such as:

• small annual cultural events
• festivals and celebrations
• small community multicultural amenity upgrades and community programs
• encouraging social participation of isolated community members and interactions among different cultural, ethnic, and social groups

Community organisations can apply through GrantsConnect.
